Description

ESD stands for ElectroStatic Discharge, or electrostatic discharge in Dutch. If you store electronically sensitive equipment in ordinary plastic containers, there is a risk of damage to the equipment due to electrostatic discharge. ESD safe containers are made of plastic with a carbon addition, which gives the container a conductive function. This keeps the equipment free from charging and electrostatic discharge.
