Description

ESD stands for ElectroStatic Discharge. When storing electronically sensitive equipment in ordinary plastic containers, there is a risk of damage to the equipment due to electrostatic discharge. ESD safe bins are made of plastic with a carbon addition, so that the bin has a conductive function. This keeps the equipment free from charging and electrostatic discharge.
